What the website and the games record, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Diet Bloxy Cola ("we", "us") is an independent game studio. We make Shoplifters on Roblox and run this website, dietbloxycola.com. Questions about this policy go to hello@dietbloxycola.com or through the contact page.

Roblox Corporation runs the Roblox platform, including your account, chat, payments and its own moderation. Roblox's handling of your data is covered by Roblox's privacy policy, not this one. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox.

What this policy covers

This policy covers two things: this website, and what our own servers record when you play our games on Roblox.

The website

No accounts, no tracking cookies. The website has no sign-in and sets no cookies of its own. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

Page measurements. The site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which record page views and how fast pages load, without cookies. What they see is the page you visited, the page that sent you, your browser and device type, your country, and a hashed identifier that lasts a day. We use this to see which pages matter and which are slow. Vercel processes it under Vercel's privacy policy.

Live counts. The home page shows how many people are in the game right now. That number comes from our own servers and carries no one's identity.

The contact form. When you open a ticket we receive what you type: the topic, your email address, your message, and, only when the topic calls for it, your Roblox user id, the reported player's Roblox user id, your Discord username, a date or a link. We also record the page you were on and, for a short time, the address your request came from, so one person cannot flood the form. The ticket lands in our support mailbox with your email as its reply address, and you get a copy with a reference. We keep tickets and our replies as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of what was done.

When you give a Roblox user id, the form and our support tools look up the public profile that goes with it (the username, the display name and the avatar picture) so that we, and you, are sure which account it is. That lookup reads Roblox's public profile data and nothing else.

Support tools. To answer tickets faster, the text of a ticket may be passed to an AI service (Anthropic) that suggests a category and drafts a reply for a person to edit. The draft is never sent on its own; a person reads every ticket and every reply. Anthropic processes that text under its own terms and does not use it to train its models.

In the game

When you play, Roblox tells our servers your Roblox user id and username, as it does for any experience. Our servers record what happens in the game and send it to an analytics service we run ourselves:

  • Sessions and rounds. When you joined and left, which rounds you played, which role you were dealt, what you grabbed, hid and banked, and how each round ended.
  • Progress. Your level, coins, gems, items and the other numbers the game saves for you, so they are there when you come back.
  • Purchases. Products you buy in the game and the Robux amount, so we can grant them, look into a purchase that did not arrive, and keep our books. Roblox handles the payment itself; we never see a card or a bank.
  • Fair play. Readings the game takes to catch cheating (for example, movement that a player cannot produce by hand), the warnings and bans that follow, and who applied them. These are kept as a record of what was decided and why.
  • Server health. Frame times, memory and errors on our servers, which carry no one's identity.

We use all of this to run the game, fix what breaks, balance the rounds, keep cheating out, answer tickets and understand how the game is doing. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it lives, and who sees it

Our website and support tools run on Vercel. Our analytics service runs on Fly.io, and our support records on Neon. Support mail is sent through Resend and read from a mailbox the studio owns. We use these providers to host and deliver; they do not use your data for their own purposes. Beyond them, only studio staff see your data, and only to do the work above. We share data with a third party only when the law requires it, or when you ask us to.

Announcements we post to Discord contain nothing about individual players.

How long we keep it

  • The detailed record of what happened in the game (sessions, rounds, actions) is kept for 90 days and then deleted. Daily totals, which carry no identity, are kept.
  • Purchase records, fair-play records and the record of what our staff did in the game are kept for as long as the game runs, because they are the books and the case history.
  • Your saved progress stays as long as you play, and you can ask us to delete it.
  • Tickets and replies are kept as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of what was done.

Children

Roblox is played by people of all ages, and Roblox decides what a player can see and do based on their account. We collect nothing beyond what Roblox provides and what the game records, and we do not ask players for personal details in the game. A parent or guardian can write to us about their child's data at any time; the requests below are open to them.

Your choices

Through the contact page you can:

  • Get a copy of what our servers hold for your Roblox account. We send it as a file.
  • Delete it. We erase everything our servers hold for your account, including your saved progress and items in the game. It cannot be restored.
  • Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and what it should be.

We answer within a few days. To act on an account we need its Roblox user id, and we reply to the email the request came from. Anything held by Roblox itself (your account, your purchase history with Roblox, chat) can only be changed by Roblox.

Security

Data travels encrypted between your browser, our servers and our providers. Access to our tools is limited to studio staff with their own sign-in, and what they do is recorded. No system is perfect; if something happens to your data, we will tell you.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. A change that matters is announced on the site.
